Housing Availability

The CCRD Economic Development Advisory Committee identified a shortage of rental housing as a barrier to attracting people who might contribute to the regionīs economic well-being.

Area residents (full-time and seasonal) who have vacant houses, cottages, cabins, guest suites, rooms, etc. that could be rented out on a longer term than the typical tourist visit are urged to contact Community Economic Development Officer, Matthew Wheelock by phone at 250-799-5291 or by e-mail at cedo@ccrd-bc.ca .

In search of residential purchasing/rental, commercial leasing, or new construction opportunities?

The CCRD cannot guarantee the availability of specific properties for sale.  In the hope of enabling people to connect with the appropriate channels when seeking to purchase properties, homes, and businesses in the Central Coast region a list of qualified real estate agents in the region can be found below.

Businesses that are not actively advertising but may have an interest in selling to the right person can approach the CEDO and request to be added to an informal businesses for sale listing.
