"Most residents in BC pay for electricity on a two-tier rate (known as a residential inclining block rate or a residential conservation rate).  Under the two-tier rates, customers pay a lower price for electricity consumed up to a threshold and a higher price for electricity consumed above the threshold."

BELLA COOLA, BC October 24, 2016 -The Central Coast Regional District Board of Directors appointed Wuikinuxv member Frank Johnson to the vacant Electoral Area A Director position during a regular meeting of the Board held on Thursday October 22, 2016.   This appointment follows the resignation in June 2016 of Area A Director Cathi McCullagh, and a subsequent by-election in which no candidates were declared.

Aboriginal tourism and mid-coast economy to benefit from B.C.īs strength.  The Government of British Columbia and BC Ferries are committing to a seasonal direct ferry service between Port Hardy and Bella Coola to support Aboriginal tourism and the mid-coast economy, Premier Christy Clark announced today.
