  Policy: Committee-Commission Input to Budget


  Preamble: In the interests of encouraging accountability and individual responsibility in
regional district financial matters, it is deemed desirable to involve all
individuals peripheral to the disbursement of regional district funds to have a part in the preparation and analysis of the budget and annual spending.


  Policy: That Committees and Commissions be kept informed of spending in the
current budget year by periodic expenditure statements prepared by
Administration.

That prior to the preparation of the provisional budget all committees and commissions be requested to submit proposed budgets complete with justification for increases, decreases, capital expenditure or other anomalies.
