Directors and Electoral Areas

Electoral areas are regions outside municipal boundaries, often referred to as rural or unincorporated areas.  Central Coast Regional District is the only regional district in the Province of BC with no incorporated municipalities, and is therefore comprised entirely of electoral areas.  Each electoral area is governed by an Electoral Area Director, who is elected every four years.
