HWY 20 Update

UPDATE:  July 20 - Highway 20 Road Closure - Due to Increased wildfire behavior at Young Creek fire.

Update July 17, 16:50 : The 6 PM Leaving from Bella Coola and the 7 PM from Anahim Lake has been Cancelled

There will be three ( 3) openings of HWY 20 in both directions, with a pilot car, this afternoon July 17th, 2023. We ask that those not residing in the valley or without an extended stay, travel during the provided openings.

The current schedule for both directions is:
Leaving Bella Coola (From the Avalanche gate) at 2, 4, and 6 pm.
Leave Anahim Lake (From the Avalanche gate) at 3,5, and 7pm.
Closed overnight.

Be aware road can change at a moment's notice and the road could close with little warning. Essential travel only.
